WPS (Women's Professional Soccer)
I was over at the WPS (Women's Professional Soccer) site this morning and realized that the inaugural season begins in a little over a month on March 29th. I have a young daughter and obviously a love for the game, so I'm really pulling for the new league to be successful.
I think if the WPS remains fiscally responsible and can market the league correctly it will do well, especially with players like Marta, Cristiane, Abby Wambach, Kelly Smith, Christine Sinclair, the USWNT and many others signing on. These ladies can play.
Here's a couple of varied video examples of why I believe the women's game can succeed in the USA.
