This year will be the 5th edition of the MLS all-star game featuring a foreign club as the opponent, with MLS taking on West Ham United for this season's game. Obviously, the game is totally pointless outside of entertainment value, but the MLS all-stars have done well so far with a 4-0-0 record and a combined 10-2 scoreline against the foreign opposition.
