*Bhutan, Guam, Brunei Darussalam, and Mauritania did not attempt to qualify for the 2014 World Cup. Mauritius entered qualification but were forced to withdraw before ever playing a game so they were not included in this list.
Cape Verde is no longer eliminated, as Equatorial Guinea had to forfeit their match. (same goes for South Africa and Botswana)
ReplyDeleteYou are missing Oman
ReplyDeleteSouth Africa and Botswana can still qualify, since FIFA awarded Botswana a 3-0 technical win over Ethiopia after Ethiopia fielded an inelgible player.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments. I'm generally not the best at updating old posts very quickly, your help is appreciated. I've added Oman and removed South Africa and Botswana from the list. From what I've read, Equatorial Guinea may have to forfeit points to Cape Verde but a final decision hasn't been reached yet so for now, at least, Cape Verde is still eliminated.
ReplyDeleteNow the decision is done; Cape Verde can still qualify
