Carlo Cudicini is a player I will always admire as a Chelsea fan.
ReplyDeleteThe arrival of Petr Cech immediately confined him to the bench, but he made a decision in the peak of his career to stay at Chelsea.
When he was called upon he was superb, and a knock or injury to Cech was never too big a deal, such was the quality of his replacement.
Chelsea don't have that kind of luxury any more, but it was great while it lasted. Keeping two world class keepers happy at one club is no mean feat.
