Cahill should count as Oceania for 04/05 no?
ReplyDeleteYou are right scaryice. I'm always a bit undecided what to do with Australia and their move from Oceania. Technically, they were accepted into Asia in March 2005, although it wasn't approved by FIFA until June '05 and didn't take effect until 2006.
ReplyDeleteFor the sake of this post I decided to keep it simple and keep Australia in Asia. I took a quick glance and I don't believe a non-Australian Asian player scored a goal in 04/05 and besides, I wanted Ryan Nelsen to have all the Oceania glory :)
Thanks.
