EPL: Relegated Club Attendances

Newcastle United set the Premier League record in 2008/2009 as the highest attended club to ever be relegated from the Premiership with about 926,244 (48,749 avg.) fans in attendance throughout the season. Only Sunderland, in 02/03, had been ranked in the average attendance top 5 before, with an average of close to 40,000 fans.

Blackpool, in 2010/2011, were the first "lowest attended" team to be relegated from the Premier League.
