Bright Neon Soccer Shirts

I was looking at a picture of last season's sun glasses worthy Marseille (#9) orange sherbet shirt and thought I would put together a few of the bright neon kits that teams have worn over the past few seasons. Did I miss any unnecessarily bright teams? Let me know and I'll add them to the list.

FC Porto

Sevilla FC

Manchester City

Sheffield Wednesday

Wigan Athletic

Oldham Athletic (Worn vs Leeds United to raise money for Breast Cancer)

Palmeiras (Brazil)

Lyon

Marseille

Derby County

Liverpool

Galatasaray

Chelsea

Barcelona

Barcelona

Roma

Borussia Dortmund

Plymouth Argyle

  1. Plymouth Argyle has been sporting orange away kits in like 4 of their last 6 seasons...evidently it's because former and current manager Paul Sturrock used to manage Dundee United (who wear orange). Also, I think there are a few away kits from Ligue 1 teams that fall into this category. You might want to check out the Colours Of Football site.

  2. Thanks Bill,

I've been to Colours of Football before but it was a long time ago and I forgot about it. It'll definitely make my bookmark list now.

PS I thought of adding Dundee and a few other teams, but since they generally always have the bright kits, I figured I'd throw together some neon kits from teams not generally known for the excessive brightness.

  3. CD Guadalajar 2008-2009. It is sick-ugly.
