From former world greats, Pele, Maradona, Platini, Baggio, and Zidane, to modern players the likes of Totti, Rooney, Messi, and Del Piero, the number 10 jersey is a special number in soccer which is often, but not always, reserved for the most creative and/or exceptional players on the field.

Many of the best players in the history of the league have worn the 10 shirt, but quite a few forgettable players have donned the shirt as well.
