Arsene Wenger and Gary Lineker both spent time with Japan's Nagoya Grampus Eight in the early to mid 90's. Here's proof that they picked up at least some of the local language during their time in Asia.

Interesting. I've been trying to find out if either of them do actually speak Japanese, and judging by Wenger's awful pronunciation, simple sentences, and reading off a sheet anyway, I'm going to say he can't. Lineker only spoke two words and I can't find any other videos of him speaking Japanese, so it's still a mystery.
