Source: Official FIFA Documents
Hello Steve,
ReplyDeletecould you give a little more detail on the source please? I've been trying to find official statistics because there's a rumour going through the media about Arjen Robbens alleged 37 kph sprint.
Where did you find the numbers?
Thank you!
Hi Klaus,
DeleteIf you go to the individual match reports on the FIFA website you can find the PDFs of the official documents from each match.
Here is the page for NED v ESP
http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/matches/round=255931/match=300186510/index.html#matchfacts
Scroll down the page and just below the lineups are the 'Official Documents' The player's top speeds are in both the 'player statistics' and the 'tracking statistics' documents.
Hope that helps!
Hello Steve,
Deletethat helps a lot! Thank you!
.. and 37 KPH was too fast to be true indeed ;)
